NERF PRO GELFIRE MYTHIC TRACER FEED NECK HOPPER ADAPTER To Shoot Glow In The Dark Gel Balls
Tracer Mod To Shoot Glow In The Dark Gel Balls
In this video I show how I added a tracer mod to the NERF Gelfire Mythic Gel Blaster to be able to shoot glow-in-the-dark gel balls for awesome night time play.
The Nerf Gelfire Mythic uses a custom twist and lock hopper that doesn't work with other standard hoppers or soda bottles. The easiest solution for illuminating glow-in-the-dark gel balls is to use a UV LED feed neck that charges up the glow gel balls before they enter the barrel. There's an off-the-shelf UV LED feed neck that attaches onto a tactical picatinny style rail which most hopper style gel blasters use for the feedneck attachment. Unfortunately, the NERF Gelfire Mythic does not have a picatinny rail because it doesn't use a feed neck, so I 3D printed an adapter that mates into the twist and lock fitting and provides a tactical picatinny style rail for the UV LED feed neck to attach to. It works great!
